Philodendron White Princess highly variegated with cream, white, teal

This cultivar is a relative newcomer to a market with so many variegated philodendrons from which to choose.  For us this one is a keeper.  These are large (35cm high) established plants which have exceptional levels of variegatio.  This plants growing habit is much preferable to that of, say White Wizard or even the beloved Pink Princess, because it is what is called in the trade a self heading variety.  This means that although, like its wild cousins, it remains a vining plant as her leaves grow so close together on the stalk you would hardly think so.  This makes for a much more shrubby and compact plant. This is turn means it requires very little in the way of support.  It also has a feint pink stripe to its stem and leaf stalks to add to its charm.  As it likes dappled light, where its white variegations shine,  it can grow in lots of positions in the house as long as you keep it away from direct light during the middle of the day.  In poorer light rotate it every time you water it to maintain even growth across the plant.
