Euphorbia Horrida strikingly unusual easy care flowering 'cactus'

£8.50Price

A member of the ancient and incredibly diverse Euphorbiaceae family from Southern & Eastern Africa which includes over 2000 species.  Some of which are large & long lived trees right through to tiny plants and everything in between.  As an example poinsettia, the red leaved plant people buy at christmas, is a member of this family.  It also includes plants like Horrida which have evolved, like cactus, to live without leaves but have thorns not spines and unlike cactus their stems are full of poisonous latex like sap. Hence the common name milk barrel cactus.   So fair to say these are not child or pet friendly.  When they flower these are yellow, red and/or orange and appear all over the 'head' of the plant.

This plant is supplied in a 10cm pot with a minium height of 18cm along with its own comprehensive easy to follow care guide based on our experience of caring for this plant in our UK home.
