Crassula x rupestris f. marnieriana 'Hottentot' Jade necklace

£6.50Price

Native to dry shaded places in KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape and Mozambique.  The name Hottentot was used, by Dutch colonists, to describe the indigenous people of the area.  As one of their common names suggests, they grow long, wavy, ‘ropes’ of small round blue/green succulent leaves which grow round their stems. These flow over the side of the pot as well as growing upwards and their structure when they do so is reminiscent of a Pagoda hence one of their other common names. It is a really charming and beautifully structured, slightly idiosyncratic plant, that is easy to keep.  Will produce small pink or white flowers if happy and is a perfect sunny window sill dweller.

This plant is supplied in a 6cm recycled and recyclable pot and will be accompanied by a detailed easy to follow care guide based on our experience of taking care of this plant in our UK home. All packing materials are both compostable and recyclable.
