Begonia Listada Emerald Green Furry leaved plant
Begonia listada, or the striped begonia, is a native to Brazil. It is a compact shrub like evergreen begonia with semi-succulent furry emerald green leaves with a prominent rib of much lighter green set off by its reddish under side. Its juvenile leaves when they emerge are a ruby pink in colour which is retained by the under leaf as it matures to green. It can grow up to 50 cm tall creating a bushy plant which produces small pink-tinted whiteflowers intermittently throughout the year. It is very easy to keep happy but will not tolerate temperatures below 10 °C so in winter kept it well protected from any drafts.

Positioning and Care Needs
This is not a difficult plant to keep happy though will require a position in very good but largely indirect light.
Requires fairly regular watering during the growing season with its growing medium allowed to dry out for the top 2 or 3 cm between watering. Furhter comprehensive easy to follow care instructions will be provided with your plant.
