Some plants need direct light, others are adapted to conditions in indirect light,  but some can tolerate low light conditions or absolutely require them.

These house plants are ideal for those darker spots in your home.   This includes North facing rooms where no direct light comes into the room or further back in rooms which do get direct light so that you can surround yourself with plants.
